The EU is now investing more than €1.8 billion in 17 large-scale innovative cleantech projects, with a third round of support awarded under the Innovation Fund. Grants will be provided under the Innovation Fund to help introduce advanced technologies to the market for energy-intensive industries, hydrogen, renewable energy, carbon capture and storage infrastructure carbon and the manufacture of essential components for energy storage and renewable energies.
