Our battle against water shortage in France is based on three tactical principles: prevention, restriction and sanction. If it proves to be essential for day-to-day management, this triptych does not respond to the scale or the acceleration of the problems. Drought episodes will multiply and it is critical to reinvent a strategy including new water consumption patterns and investments in innovative approaches to water production, exploitation and conservation:
